I’ve a computer on repair and that one have 4gig RAM and the the computer im using now having 1gig of RAM so i wonder if i could remove the ram in this computer and go it to the computer which is on repair? The RAM memory in this computer is 6 years ancient and the RAM in the computer which is on repair is about 4 months ancient. Will it work if i add the 1gig RAM to my newer computer? (2 empty slots of ram)

would there be any problem if i take out my 2 512 mb RAM and install 3 1gb of RAM ??

my computer has two drives and i checked how much ram i have and its 2038. Is that a total from both drives or is that just in one drive the drive im currently using. someone help me know this.
