Boot scan is slowing my computer start up time, and I am trying to find a way to disable it. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium, with AVG Internet Security 8. I do not want to disable AVG on startup, just the boot scan.
Thank You in Advance!!

Boot scan?
You should to separate that
1.AVG scans before you logon (as check disk utility)
2.Or AVG scans after you logon (run as any startup programs)
If you’re in case 1: Launch Command Prompt type into without quation
“at /delete”. Chose Y for yes to delete all shedule jobs on your system
(don’t worry, there is no program was deleted from your system, just some file are storing information about which program will be ran at what time.)
Case 2:
Giong to Windows Vista Start Up manager to disable it.
Right click on AVG icon on systray (near clock on taskbar) then configure the shedule scan for AVG.
These are 2 reason may cause AVG automactically scan at startup or boot time
